Aruba… the Ship Wreck

Probably the most famous shipwreck around Aruba would be the German ship MS Anitlla, sunk by the Dutch Navy in 1940.  However, this post in not about that one! As we were heading to the beach we came upon a shipwreck the was perhaps 50 ft off shore. I have no idea what the name of the ship is. What I have been able to find out is that this wreck actually was about 3 miles off shore and during a recent hurricane she was blown into shore where it now sits.

Here is a few shots of the ship (one which I have converted with a Mocha filter in a lame attempt to give it an eerie feel) and a shot of someone enjoying the beauty of the trade winds out on the sea.  Next up will be the beach!
