A popular tourist attraction in Aruba is or rather was an area known as the Natural Bridge. Located along the west coast of the Island, the Natural Bridge actual collapsed in 2005. The area offers some spectacular views of the Caribbean and reminds us of the force and power of the ocean. There remains a smaller bridge now called the “baby bridge” right next to where this natural bridge once stood. I’m told the bridge formed by thousands of years of pounding waves and winds was the largest in the entire Caribbean standing 25 feet high and 100 feet long.
Here are some shots from around the area where this huge natural phenomenon once stood.
