South Beach and the Art Deco District

If you have ever been to South Beach you have no doubt noticed that Hollywood star sightings, expensive shops and patio’s filled with tourists are not the only attraction. South Beach is also a historic area with its unique Art Deco architecture and colorful buildings. Boasting a claim to having the largest collection of Art Deco style architecture in the world, South Beach has hundreds of old hotels and apartments erected between 1923 and 1943. It truly is a wonderful place to visit and the colorful buildings offer great opportunities for any photo enthusiast.

Thanks for joining me on my South Beach walkabout….

  1. I haven’t been to South Beach in so long! It was nice to revisit through your awesome photographs. The art deco buildings provide such a great backdrop to a great city on the ocean…no wonder it has such a great vibe!
